Bread prices will rise in Azerbaijan.
Yeniavaz.com reports with reference to Globalinfo.az, according to the results of a survey conducted in some stores in the capital, it became clear that bread prices will rise by 5-10 kopecks from tomorrow.
In this regard, the "Nur" bakery announced that the price of bread will increase by 5 kopecks from February 1:
“But not only the price, but also the weight of the bread will increase. Because with a small weight, bread dries out quickly. That is why we have to increase the weight. If we increase the weight, it will automatically affect the price. The price in the market is regulated by weight. Thus, from February 1, bread worth 50 kopecks will be sold for 55, and bread worth 55 kopecks will be sold for 65 kopecks. Previously, the weight was 440-450 grams, now it will be 500 grams. The weight of a loaf of bread worth 55 kopecks was 510 grams, but from now on it will be 620 grams. This way the bread will be less dry".
