In the first nine months of this year, Azerbaijan imported 9 thousand 15.3 tons of buckwheat from Russia for a total of 3 million 618.6 thousand dollars.
Yeniavaz.com reports with reference to published official data, the average customs value of 1 kilogram of buckwheat imported from Russia was 40 cents (68 kopecks).
It should be noted that buckwheat was imported to Azerbaijan only from Russia.
For information, in October of this year, the average selling price of imported buckwheat in the country's retail outlets was 2.8 manats. As can be seen from the published official data, imported buckwheat was sold in markets and stores more than 4 times more expensive than the customs value.
