According to companies engaged in wholesale trade of flour in Azerbaijan, the price of a 50-kilogram bag of flour fluctuates between 25.3-27.5 manats.

It should be noted that currently, “Dəvəçi-Taxıl” LLC sells a 50-kilogram bag of flour at the lowest price - 25.3 manats, and “Azeri-Arapoğlu U.S və T.LTD” at the highest price - 27.5 manats.
For information, it should be noted that in Azerbaijan there is a sharp difference between wholesale and retail prices for flour.
According to published official data, the average selling price of 1 kilogram of flour in retail chains (stores) in Azerbaijan is 1 manat 50 kopecks. If we take into account that the wholesale price of a 50-kilogram bag of flour is 25-26 manats (1 kilogram - 50-52 kopecks), then it is clear that flour is sold in the markets almost 3 times more expensive than the wholesale price.
It should also be noted that flour imported from abroad is sold in the markets more expensive than local flour. Thus, the average selling price of 1 kilogram of imported flour in the markets is 1 manat 70 kopecks. In the first eight months of this year, the average customs value of 1 kilogram of flour imported from Russia to Azerbaijan was 49 kopecks (29 cents).
