Every year on the eve of the New Year, the country’s “main Christmas trees” are installed in the central squares of most cities in the world, including the capital of Azerbaijan, Baku.
Yeniavaz.com reports that this year the “main Christmas tree” of Azerbaijan was installed behind the Puppet Theater in the capital Baku.
According to official information, the height of the tree is 35 meters.
For information, the well-known Russian agency Turstat has announced the height of New Year trees erected in the CIS countries. The “main Christmas tree” of Azerbaijan is among the top four among the CIS countries in terms of height.
It should also be noted that among the CIS countries, the Christmas tree erected only in the capital of Russia is natural.
