Who are the new vice-presidents of SOCAR? - Dossier

President Ilham Aliyev has appointed 7 new vice-presidents of the State Oil Company (SOCAR).

Afgan Elchin oglu Isaev
In 2009, he was appointed Executive Director of the Azerbaijan Investment Company (AISH).
He was the general director of ZAO Southern Gas Transport Corridor.

Arzu Sahib gizi Javadova
A. Javadova graduated from the Azerbaijan State Oil Academy in 1989 with a degree in Geological Exploration and was engaged in scientific research.
In 2013, by decree of the President of the country, she was awarded the Progress medal.
A. Javadova - Chairman of the Society of Petroleum Geologists of Azerbaijan, candidate of geological and mineralogical sciences, author of 2 inventions and 35 scientific papers.
From January 17, 2022 to the present day, she has worked as the chief geologist of SOCAR.

Ismail Fikret oglu Zergerli
He worked as a lawyer in the Baku office of Dr. Shirin O. Entezari & Associates and Ledingham Chalmer. Practice areas include real estate, energy, telecommunications and labor law.
He has a higher education in the field of international law.
Speaks Azerbaijani, English and Russian.

Anar Farrukh oglu Mammadov
Born in 1971 in Baku.
In 2009-2014, he was the General Director of SOCAR Georgia Gas.
He also worked as the General Director of SOCAR Energy Greece.
A. Mammadov worked as a chief executive officer at SOCAR Georgia Gas Ltd, Arxiel Carbonexis Ltd, as well as a regional director at Millio International Ltd.

Ziba Tajeddin gizi Mustafayeva
Worked as the director of personnel department of "Azercell" company.
Prior to her appointment, she worked as an adviser to the President of SOCAR.

It should be noted that Babek Elbeniz oglu Huseynov and Fuad Bekir oglu Musayev were also appointed to the post of vice president of SOCAR by the order of the president.
