Mirsaleh Seyidov previously worked as the head of various penitentiary institutions. The last place of his work was the position of the head of the penal colony No. 10.
Mirsaleh Seyidov, who was previously the head of the 15th colony, was appointed head of the 10th colony in 2011 on the orders of Madat Guliyev, the former head of the Penitentiary Service, now the Minister of Defense Industry.
In 2018, by the Decree of President Ilham Aliyev, Mirsaleh Seyidov was awarded the medal "For Distinction in Government Service".
