The number of overnight stays for foreigners and stateless persons increased by 79.7 percent compared to January-March 2022 and reached 309.2 thousand, which is 56.3 percent of the total number of overnight stays. 19.3% of the total number of overnight stays were citizens of Russia, 9.5% - Turkey, 8.6% - UAE, 7.3% - India, 5.7% - Saudi Arabia, 4.6% - Kuwait, 3, 5% - Great Britain, 2.9% - Kazakhstan, 2.8% - Georgia, 2.6% - Pakistan, 2.3% - USA, 2.2% - Israel, 1.6% - Belarus, 1.4 % - Germany, 1.4% - Uzbekistan, 1.2% - Qatar, 1.2% - Iran, 0.9% - Ukraine, 0.9% - China, 0.9% - Italy, 0.7% - France, 0.6% - Oman, 0.5% - the Netherlands and 17.4% citizens of other countries.
80.1 percent of overnight stays of foreigners and stateless persons were in Baku, 8.9 percent - in Gusar, 3.5 percent - in Naftalan, 3.2 percent - in Gabala, 1.8 percent - in Guba, 0.4 percent - to the Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic, 0.3 percent - to Shabran.
The number of overnight stays of Azerbaijani citizens amounted to 240,000, which is 43.7 percent of the total number of overnight stays.
