The eruption of the Shiveluch volcano with an ash emission of 15 km occurred on the night of April 11 local time in Kamchatka.
Yeniavaz.com reports with reference to TASS, according to calculations, it extends 500 km northwest of Shiveluch and continues to spread.
The Institute of Volcanology and Seismology noted that at present the volcano has been assigned the highest hazard code for aviation - red.
A group of scientists from the institute is working on area.
