Bakhtiyar Hajiyev was sentenced to pre-trial detention

Public figure Bakhtiyar Hajiyev was detained yesterday.
Yeniavaz.com reports citing APA, that the petition regarding the selection of pretrial detention measure against Bakhtiyar Hajiyev was considered.
The decision was announced in the Khatai District Court chaired by judge Fuad Akhundov. According to the decision, Bakhtiyar Hajiyev was sentenced to pre-trial detention for one month and 20 days.
Earlier the press service of the Ministry of Internal Affairs reported, that "the detention of citizen Bakhtiyar Hajiyev is connected with a criminal case initiated by the Main Police Department of Baku city under Articles 221 (Hooliganism) and 289 (Contempt of Court) of the Criminal Code".
